Amazing visit from Santiago to the mountains

Hector our guide and Gregory our driver took us from our hotel in Santiago to Portillo/Inca Lagoon and then return. 14 of us in a good new minivan worked fine and it was comfortable. We stopped at In Situ winery/vineyards for a tasting and also the llama farm on the way up. Lunch at Portillo hotel/ski resort was excellent and the lagoon is an amazing colour. Although the day of 10 hours was quite long, 7:30am to 5:30pm, it did not seem so because of the stops - especially on the way home at corner 17 of the windy mountain road. What a sight. Hector was an excellent guide who spoke a lot about all sorts of interesting things and we felt safe and well-cared for all day. What a good experience with unexpected sights.

Alvaro was an amazing guide. He was prompt to pick us up, shared with us a plethora of knowledge about the Andes and Chile, and took amazing photos for us. The scenic spots were absolutely breathtaking. Our driver Gregorio did a fantastic job driving and was very friendly. Would highly recommend!

Benjamin & Gregorio were amazing tour guides today! It was our first time in Chile & they were clear from the start & made us feel at home. Therefore we are also going to book another tour with them. From when they picked us up, to all the information provided throughout the day. Very informative & also very relaxing & safe. A group of 10 was the perfect amount & the Lagoon was beautiful - enough time here was spent eating at the restaurant as well as taking photos. The wine tasting section was also cute. In a family owned business with very tasty wine. So glad to have chosen this tour - it created lifetime memories for us. Thank you!

Alvaro is the best tour guide ever. Funny charming and knowledgeable. Communication was excellent. We very much enjoyed the winery - especially my wife. The lunch was very good and the scenery was outstanding. The 29 curve road was not as terrifying as I thought it would be thanks to our excellent driver, Angelo. Thank you for a great day!

My husband and I really enjoyed our trip with Álvaro to Inca Lagoon. Álvaro was really knowledgeable and we learned lots while we made the drive out to Inca Lagoon. The vineyard was lovely on the way out and the lunch at the ski lodge in Portillo was wonderful. Our driver, Gregorio, drove us safely there and back. Definitely go on this adventure. You are in great hands!
